Ed Shiller
Ed has long been a creative force in communications, earning distinction as a journalist, dynamic and charismatic media trainer, public speaker, mentor, team leader, writer, author, and strategic thinker.
Ed's journalism career spanned more than fifteen years, during which he held senior editorial positions with The New York Times, Reuters News Agency, Radio Denmark, and The Toronto Star and contributed to Newsweek, The (London) Sunday Times, The Financial Times of London and many other leading newspapers and magazines.
As a consultant, he has provided media training for more than a thousand spokespersons, subject matter experts, and executives; created and delivered hundreds of public and in-house workshops on a wide variety of communications-related topics; steered dozens of organizations through crises; and developed and implemented comprehensive strategic communications plans for numerous corporations, government agencies, unions, non-profit organizations, and trade and professional associations. He is the author of In the Spotlight: The Essential Guide to Giving Great Media Interviews, The Canadian Guide to Managing the Media, and Managing the Media.
